remember how people used to say housing prices were “sticky on the way down”? well clearly that’s not true anymore. What about the concept that real estate cannot recover sharply upward, that we’ll “know when we’re bouncing along the bottom”. is that still true? is there nay way to know? is every platitude out the window?
