ParticipantLennar is aggressively marketing the remaining homes at Skyranch now and have lowered the prices even further. I am just wondering if buyers still think that the homes are overpriced.

GuestLennar’s Sky Ranch:
Prospective buyers need to read the fine print when looking at this development.
Property tax rate for this development is 1.6% vs 1.1% just down the hill in Santee proper. This must be how they get around the “no mello-roos” statement. Do the math.
Outrageous HOA’s dues of over $325 (maintenance only, no pool or club house) and keeping the starting prices at least 20% more than they should be in today’s market will keep this subdivision a ghost town for quite some time.
Nice view,semi-secluded and good location are pluses…no community pool, a tiny park, freeway noise from every location and the prohibitive extra cost to enjoy the view are negatives that will keep most buyers from calling Sky Ranch home.
