SR-52 Expansion Definitely Opening on Tuesday
Caltrans says the anticipated expansion will open as scheduled.
If you are trying to be one of the first to drive on the new stretch of freeway, you better plan on staying up late, Caltrans usually opens such roads to new traffic between 3 and 5 a.m.

You will not be able to get a table that seats more than 4 people. Also the sign still says Linda Vista Food on the canapy above the restuarant. The food is very good depending on what you like. I get the red and yellow curry with chicken. I also like the Thai fried rice.

Here’s what motorists can expect when the rubber meets the road: With the project finished, it will now take 15 to 20 minutes to drive from central Santee to downtown La Jolla during non-rush-hour traffic.
