GuestHow about JP Morgan Chase? I have the same situation. My offer is higher than what they approved at the first time but we have waited for 2 months now.

ParticipantI think that goes to show the variability with the processing. It canbe quite frustrating. What sort of feedback has your agent received from the listing agent? The listing agent should be able to tell you the status of the file, (ie – is the negotiator waiting on any additional docs, or another BPO or appraisal) and if the file is complete has it been sent to the investors. If the file has been sent to the investors the negotiator should be able to give some sort of estimate on a response. Things are thankfully not as open ended as they used to be, but in many cases are still slow.

ParticipantChase is a real mixed bag. ABout 2 months ago they stopped allowing their short sale processors to email us. Everything has to be done by phone (they never answer and all calls go to voice mail) or fax. I think they were having problems with things getting put into emails that came back to bite them on legal issues.
