SF Fed says “Housing markets have hit the skids”

I pulled this from the latest Q Fed report out of the SF Fed. Very interesting divergence showing between new homes for sale vs. vacant homes for sale. The vacant number currently at 4X new homes is well on its way to a ^log difference in the near future. Housing starts are at almost historical lows and vacants are about 2X what they were during the last housing decline.
