Serenity in Stonebridge, OVERPRICED????

It is indeed fishy. That house was thrashed out front. Someone did a quick fix and freshened up the plants, etc. Two days after the courthouse deal they were working on that landscape with no HOA approval. I was following that house on your old blog.

I agree it looks fishy. It seems pretty clear that the trustee sale buyer had access to the house prior to the sale. They probably weren’t counting on competition bidding it up by $100k at the steps.

As far as the recording of deeds… From Adam has posted – not all trustee sale buyers bother to record the title. (Adam does.)

I’d be curious as to his or sdr’s professional opinion on what happened here.

I cannot see paying that price for a bunch of houses that all look alike. And mello-roos is such a rip-off. You’ll never get that money back.

Does anybody know how long the MR has to be paid in “Stonebridge”. Is it 15 year or longer?
