Facts? Data? Where? All you have is your personal “interviews.” Here are some facts from the FBI universal crime reporting, maybe those cameras are working.
http://www.fbi.gov/ucr/cius2007/data/table_08_ca.html
Those are the 2007 numbers, 2008 numbers are being compiled now and should be out soon.
Lookes like 2007 saw Corona get worse and Temecula get better. Corona had 340 violent crimes for 153k population to Temecula’s 207 violent crimes with 93k people, feel free to look at the link which is what we call “data.” But then again I don’t have the luxury of interviewing your friends and clipping newspaper stories (which is far more scientific and accurate than the fbi crime statistics), I guess I am forced to be “delusional.”
Don’t get me wrong, Corona is a safe community, it’s crime rate is very low but so is Temecula’s. I have no doubt you have pictures of two houses that are occupied by mexicans and that one has crap in the yard, that proves what?
What other fact did you present? I’m not calling the city and asking if they have cameras spying on me and those cameras are connected to federal database because I can’t get wine or cigars in the looney bin, so I’d rather not go. Even if it were true, who cares, wouldn’t that make it safer?
Lay off the Michael Savage for a while, it’s obviously getting to you.

Keep focusing on cameras and Corona, then you do not have to address the main subject, that Temecula is a stressful, delusional, semi-dumpy scam and always has been.
Corona is nice for the reasons I mentioned, good restaurants, established friendly community. Crime is isolated to only a few areas. My point is not just crime, but the quality and friendliness of the people. I go to the Temecula farmers market every week. I may get one smile in return from a Temeculian after walking about old town for 2.5 hours. In Corona I get constant smiles and thank you for opening doors, and a generally much better feeling from the community.
Pics of mexican holes proves this – the city is turning into a 3rd world pit and the city officials do NOTHING about it.
And the stats you found on crime, love that one, get the ratio based on population, its the same crime level for both cities! This given that Corona has a few “bad” areas … Thats bad, especially considering Temecula advertises itself as a model city. The more you dig into the facts, the worse Temecula looks. Temecula is for money making by a few, thats all, its a city based of business. The residents get the “business” and a few get the profits. This is the city’s nature and its not likely to ever change.
Hate Mike Savage, he is a red-diaper-doper-baby beatnik from the 60’s and has never changed his tune.

This is my point about delusional southern california americans. I like that word, delusional. I use to use the word “fantasy” but a mexican-american friend and teacher in Temecula (ironic) went on about how he hated the city and people, how arrogant and mental they were. That if he didn’t give a good grade the pompous parent would march into his room and demand better scores, then go on about how they owned a business and knew people in the mayor’s office. He choose the word “delusional” and that really says it well.
My fiancée is 100% hispanic. My best friend is 100% Aztec heritage. His parents came here in the 1970’s and was so appreciative of this country letting them in (legally) that the father joined the Air force to pay back the privilege. My friend’s mother came to me 12 years ago and was going on and on about some weird subject, about an invasion. she told me that the scum from mexico they left behind has started to invade the country by the 100,000’s and that I should beware, and that she was so upset the illegals are ruining her city (Corona) and crime was going up, etc etc.
See smart ass, I have science and facts behind my stand. I’ve been in Temecula since 1995 and have talked to many many people. Actually I interviewed them. My info originates from first hand knowledge, not from a smart ass attitude and references to the notorious Wikipedia (by the way, your links do not even related to my point of a soil borne fungus). And check the police reports for the area, like I did, before you mouth off. I also have pics of the “holes” when we were stupid enough to look for homes in Temecula. Look about 5 feet deep.

Um. Pompous parents that demand teachers give better grades to their kids? Yes, this is a Temecula thing. No where else in the WORLD do you have overbearing parents that breed a sense of entitlement. All along I should have realized Temecula was the epicenter. CalFord, you really have opened my eyes old chap! This town shall burn for it’s misappropriation of parental influence over our fine educators.
I’m glad you fiancee is Hispanic, does she know she is about to marry a racist prick? You’re doing the world a favor by befriending that poor Aztec as well – congrats to you sir!
You’ve been in Temecula since 1995? Wow. That was about 4 years before I got here. You clearly have a mastery of the facts, especially the recent condition of the area. Oh wait, no you don’t – you’ve moved on to greener pastures (Corona!). Why don’t you let the folks that actually live here now offer a bit a perspective without your unsubstantiated rants about government spying and prowling mexican nationals. I know you are simply trolling, but still there are enough folks on Piggs that will take what you say at face value and fear “the mexican’s” will rape them if they visit our fungus infested wineries.
FYI – I do as much “soft fact gathering” as you by talking to folks and seeing what the latest is in different parts of the area. I also regularly attend city council and city planning meetings, as well as read our daily papers. I have google alerts for Murrieta and Temecula. Someone sneezes out here and I get up to the minute emails wherever I am. I follow Twitter feeds on several folks in the area, read police reports, etc. I have friends and family that have been in this area since Kaiser first started development in the 60’s – before there was even the 15 freeway. Don’t assume I don’t know what’s going on in my own city or I understand how things have changed.
