I believe you are referring to what will be the 2nd phase of La Costa Oaks. The views from some of those homes will be amazing. From what I understand they will not be in the San Dieguito school district though.January 28, 2008 at 7:30 PM #144495sdrealtor

ParticipantIt does not matter how many fire stations are around you if the fire fighters are out fighting a fire, not necessarily in your neighborhood and or not enough money in the budget to hire the people to staff it. During the Cedar fire many of our personnel were figting the Old fire in a neighboring county, then our county started to burn. Fire stations also burned down during this fire. Just don’t be lulled into a false sense of security by the presence of a new building in your neighborhood. You need to understand what is going on with the budget in Sacramento and how that impacts new housing developments….

ParticipantI think they already have the staff actually…because there is already a crew that operates an engine out of a temporary facility in the town center.
No false sense of security here, just trying to counter the “firetrap” comment.
