Hello, gdcox, I have insomnia and am in San Diego, where it is the middle of the night. I hate the gas prices here, but you HAVE to have a car. My workplace is 14.5 miles away. I can do that in 15 minutes at 6:30 in the morning, and about 20-24 at 4 p.m. The bus would be about 2 hours and the trolley…I don’t know…except that I’d have to walk about two miles, which I can’t because of physical problems. Congrats for living in a country with good mass transit. We don’t have that here, mate. Oh, and all three of us in my household drive small Japanese cars. Is this crisis affecting our lives? You betcha.
