i wasn’t expecting the lender to pay; i was expecting one or both of the realtors to pay.
It was probably a crapppy thing to do,but I did that in a similar situation 15 years ago. It was short sale and the bank wouldn’t fix anything including a gas pipe that was rusted so badly that gas was wafting out.I wasn’t really happy with my agent. I got $450 from each realtor at under threat of walking.I was about to call and tell them I would take it anyway when the phone rang and my agent told me they had agreed.November 11, 2010 at 7:40 AM #629352NotCrankyParticipant
i wasn’t expecting the lender to pay; i was expecting one or both of the realtors to pay.
I don’t know for sure either way, scaredy, in that case it felt sort of manipulative and sort of justified. It wasn’t actually the agents fault, but they didn’t want to rock the boat to get it fixed either. So, they traded a little commission for a sure close.November 11, 2010 at 9:17 AM #629413NotCrankyParticipant
Is it a crappy thing to try to stick sone disputed items w the realtor?
