ParticipantConsidering the fact that many of these prices are still at or above 2004 prices, I would be a bit more aggressive and say that you will see at least a 25-30% decline in these prices over the next 2 years. I myself have also been watching the area for years and it seems to have the Carmel Valley disease. Confused buyers and sellers!!

ParticipantSocratt if we are talking about the bottom overall yes I could see much more then yes I could see a minimum of 25-30% like you said. However in just two years I am hesitant about such a great drop. As I have been saying over the past few months I am pushing out my guesstimate for a bottom. Especially for the higher end homes.
