San Diego Property Tax Sales have stopped since last year – Conspiracy?

Just curious if anyone else has noticed that although there is a lot of homes that are in default of their taxes for the last 5+ years this year and last year it seems like the city isn’t holding property tax sales any more?

Does this mean that they are now selling directly to a vendor wholesale which handles it for them or something else going on? Just curious if anyone else had an inside scope on this.

Looks like they’re moving from a physical auction to an online auction on a third-party service.

That’s been there since last year actually with no updates.
