Yes, but according to the Constitution it is now reasonable to search all your financial records for misdeeds.

It’s easy. Just “google” him, lol.

markmax, I have worked on (local) political campaigns before, have walked precincts extensively and have also held political fundraisers in my home. (This was in the “pre-blog” era, lol.)
I for one think you are an extremely eloquent representative of your generation and also think you are doing a “bang-up job” *educating* people here. You will find several Piggs who are set in their ways and “hard nuts to crack” (myself included sometimes, lol).
Your name has a slightly unusual spelling. Are you by chance related to any of the McMillins of a local “South County RE empire” here in SD county? Just curious . . . Thanks, and keep plugging away here – you’re doing great :=]
November 1, 2011 at 12:06 PM #731872SD RealtorParticipantI would agree with you bg. Markmax does make a strong effort to back his cause with logical arguments rather then broadstroke generic statements of hope, ideals, etc… SK and PR are smart guys and he did his best to keep up with them. Enjoyed reading his posts. I may not agree with all of them but they are presented in a logical manner and that is appealing.

Thx SD Realtor! I promise to keep up and the main reason I’m willing to debate SK and PR isn’t because I can’t convert them with logic obviously, it’s for everyone else reading this blog that is interested in liberty. I could ask them a ton of questions they can’t answer.

Nope that’s not me! There are a few people with the same name in this country. It would be nice, I could devote all of my time and resources for the cause of getting Ron Paul or in the future Rand Paul.
The thing I wish to pass everybody on the this blog is the difference between Keynesian Economics vs. Austrian Economics. Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate pushing Austrian Economics.
Once you finally realize how dumb the federal reserve system is, look at the history of failures, not one person will agree with Keynesian Economics or any of the other candidates.

Absent from any of the fascinating little bon mots on what is or is not Constitutional is the glaringly obvious issue of civil liberties.
We’re the most serious erosion of individual liberties in this country in decades and no one is taking issue with it. Going back to FISA in 1978 and through warrantless wire-tapping during Bush II, there is nearly complete silence on this topic.
The LA Times has an interesting article on this topic: http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/opinionla/la-ed-secrets-20111031,0,273702.story
If we’re truly interested in liberty/Liberty, I cannot imagine a more important discussion.

So it’s your contention that Ron Paul believes the states have the right to invade the privacy of a woman’s uterus, irrespective of the guarantees provided in the 4th amendment? Does that extend to the rest of the 4th amendment? State and local police are not bound by the unreasonable search and siezure clause? Really?
[/quote]NO! Ron Paul’s belief is that it is not the jurisdiction of the Federal Government for which he is running for President. States have their own constitutions. The point of the federal GOV’s constitution was to limit the power of the Federal GOV. The federal GOV is SO FAR past what was written in the constitution, such as the patriot act, etc it is a big enough problem for him to deal with on that level solely. The founding fathers saw the failed English empire, roman empire, etc and that’s why they wrote it that way! Why do you disregard the set of lessons learned so easily and question them?

Gee, that takes the fun out of it.

Of course not. It’s some other Ron Paul fanboy in San Diego with the same name.
I guess now we know he was not part of the 95% black population in the “roughest high school you have ever seen.”
Mark Max is the 1%
November 1, 2011 at 1:12 PM #731884SD RealtorParticipantYou are welcome markmarx. Honestly I do agree with many of the arguments that PR and SK make. You are giving it your best shots with your responses in a specific manner which is good. Keep the faith.

Ironically there was one person who stood up in Congress and attacked the whole patriot act and the wire tapping:

It also talks about 4th amendment rights.
November 1, 2011 at 1:28 PM #731890scaredyclassicParticipantYes have fun it’s nice to see people excited politically. I can’t relate but it seems like it could be fun. Hint about persuading people, though, best to stick to the arguments and not imply that the persuader is blind, dumb or overlooking the glaringly obvious.
Paul Ron in 2012! Or wait is it Ron Paul. Dammit I’m getting old I cannot remember

I used to be apathetic like the rest of you. It took 3 years of one of the smartest guy’s I know to banging on my hard head for me to wake up. It also took a life event when my liberty was snatched away on April 15th this year through an illegal GOV act. Don’t think they won’t take away your liberties. They will, you may just be lucky so far, but when it happens it will ignite a fire under your pants like you’ve never seen.

It’s hard for me to take your comments seriously in a serious post when you attack a man verbally with lies, sorry if I offended you. Ron Paul and myself accept your apology in advance.

I’m not the Realtor as you suggested. That is my picture. Yes I was the one percent and I’ll gladly take anybody on a tour of my high school any time you are begging for your liberties to be stolen for GOV “protection”.
