I need to move by by month end. Work in Carlsbad area so looking for a 2br+ SFR in that area (Carlsbad, La Co$ta, Vista, San Marcos, Encinitas etc). Looking to save and keep the rent minimal ($2k or less). I have been looking on craigslist, but it gets tiring filtering through apartments and junk ads.
Anyone have any suggestions as to where else to look?

I agree, the best rental i had and the one that didn’t get foreclosed on while I was there was exactly that. Owned outright by retirees and all they did was stick a sign out front, which my dog peed on during a walk, always a positive omen.
