Recommendations for a Selling Broker who would accept 1% commission?

Howdy Folks,
We may choose to sell one of our SFHs in San Diego North County next year. We have sold before in San Diego using Adam @ GR Realty, for 1% seller’s agent commission (…plus 2.5% commission for the buyer’s agent).

BTW, I understand that FSBO is an alternative option for me, but I’m not currently considering that option due to time & logistics constraints.
We’re only looking to sell at this time, not buy.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like Adam @ GR Realty is still around. I know Refin offers 1%, but I’d first like to find a local agent/brokerage, if possible. Can anyone here recommend a specific local agent or brokerage who either charges 1% seller’s agent commission or who might be open to negotiating their usual 2.5% seller’s agent commission down to 1% or thereabouts?

Anyone doing 1% seller deals probably isn’t going to be around long. They will either provide crappy customer service or go broke paying their own bills.

Seems smart, don’t know why more folks aren’t forcing the hand of the establishment.

I reached out to a friend that lives in San Marcos and owns a couple investment properties in North County, he has a day job, but does real estate on the side. I will let you know if he is interested.

Also, if you search the internet for discount or flat fee realtors in San Diego, there are several that offer a suite of options, depending on your intent.

Yeah. Should be easy to sell in this low inventory environment.

As a licensed Realtor, with Carlsbad office, I’ll negotiate my commission with you and get it in MLS and handle all the paperwork and required disclosures.
We can discuss what you expect in terms of service for a reduced commission.

For any Realtor/Agent/Broker there is potential liability on any transaction.
There’s a limit to how low anybody wants to go.

You still need to be willing to offer a commission to the selling agent.
We can discuss that too.

I’ve spoken with/helped A LOT of Pigg’s over the past 10 years, not just with loans. If I can’t help, I will say so.

I’ve told some that I didn’t think they should buy just yet based on their finances. I’ve told others how to accomplish their goals without refinancing.

There may be someone who is unhappy with me but I honestly can’t say that I know who they are (other than some grumpy Pigg’s who never contacted me but still complained)

In a public forum I’m a target. I can handle it. 😉 HLS
