Hipmatt, love your commentary. I was curious what you think will happen in communities like Meadowview, Los Ranchitos or Santiago? I had to sell a home in Meadowview this year and was very sad to see it go, especially at the price it sold at! Anyway, I walked away with some money but I am happily renting waiting to see what happens to Temecula.

They can’t make another one, ever. Los Ranchitos and Santiago, I would have said the same thing but be wary of the part close to 79 and those close to margarita, the hospital will be built soon and the preferred ambulance and helicopter route is adgacent to those developments, I’d wait to see how that impacts them, it’s not going to be a little clinic, it will be a major hospital, I believe more beds than the other two combined and it will be a trauma center with chopper pads, that can piss off the horses. Many of the nearby homes are being demolished to make way for medical offices so it could work well for them or hurt them, it’s house to house. Millionare mile won’t be affected, that place is fantastic.
Here’s one for 21 million

but most are like these, aroun 1 to 2 mil, depending on if you have your own tennis courts, view, etc. They are beautiful and only a mile or so off the freeway and a bike ride to restraunts, but the yardwork has my heartburn acting up just looking at them.

Most people are unaware of these areas, they don’t fit the sterotype and if things really go to hell in a handbasket, I’m there, matt won’t like it because they are snobs.
Matt, C’mon, starlight ridge and Rancho highlands?? What are you telling these people. Here is the most expensive and largest on I could find in starlight

If you have an affinity for formica, rotting fences and 1970’s brady bunch architecthure just to avoid snobby neighbors and get a big lot, then that’s the place. Personally, I’ll drive the extra five minutes to the mall. Matt, seriously, wildomar is better than Redhawk/Morgan because it’s closer to the movies? You posted after midnight, I’ll give you a pass on that one assuming you were drinking.

December 2, 2007 at 6:23 PM #107556paramountParticipantIt could go to $95 in Morgan Hill, I would not be surprised to see sub 400k in Morgan Hill in the near future.
Now today I read in the Press Enterprise that the market in the IE is being flooded with rentals.

January 21, 2009 at 8:37 PM #332785luchabeeParticipantHi everyone: It has been a long while since this was discussed.
I was wondering if anyone had any updated comments/observations about Temecula and nearby communities?
For example, have you been to Temecula recently? How is the local economy, traffic, housing conditions, etc.?
Thanks!
