I agree his taxes were most likely legal…
But that’s not the point…You didn’t go off bragging about how smart you were and how smart you are with business, and how successful your businesses were, and even if you did do those things, you definitely didn’t use those falsehoods as a platform as to why the american people should trust you with “making america great again”.
All this is one more data point about what a con man he is. This is beyond the Trump University con.
What I find really interesting is that Trump is now complaining that someone illegally stole his tax return and published it to the NYT…And yet a few weeks ago, he didn’t seem to mind how the Russians hacked into the DNC….
Karma sure is a bitch.
LOL, true, my opinion on Trump has long been his principal business skill is getting someone else to leave with the bag.

He missed a golden opportunity to negate the racist, anti-woman image he has…all he needed to do was nominate a woman or minority as VP. I’ll never understand why he didn’t do that. It would have taken that bullet away from the Dems.
That wouldn’t have satisfied the far right wing bible humpers.
Well, unless he nominated Sarah Palin, lol.I don’t know why people didn’t like Mitt Romney.
LOL…you didn’t fat-finger humpers did you?
As for Romney, to me he’s just a more savvy version of Trump – that is he knows what not to say in public to offend certain groups of people. They both love to tout their millions and what great business men they are. However, Romney make a lot of his $$$ by acquiring businesses then shutting them down and selling the parts for profit. It’s not exactly a good long-term job-growing mindset.
October 2, 2016 at 3:50 PM #801741zkParticipantThis is one of the smaller of the numerous massive reasons why Trump would be a bad president:
He seems to believe that he can make something “true” just by repeating it. One frequent charge against Trump is that his temperament is not suited for the office. His response? “I…have a much better temperament than she has.”
I love that the audience laughed at him. He’s so used to syncophantic audiences, I think that took him by surprise. But he still probably believes that if he repeats it enough, it will become “true.”

What the hell is the world coming too?
Ok, in the bare minimum I’ll keep my RINO status.
I do like Assembly Member Brian Maienschein in my district.

I took an Uber ride yesterday with a Muslim immigrant driver (naturalized US citizen) from Iraq. I was so sure he would be voting Hillary…but no. He didn’t like either major party option, so is planning not to vote at all. If even a Muslim immigrant is planning to stay home on election day, it seems to me that there is a real chance of a President Trump.
Fortunately, we have better tools at our disposal than your one person survey. National and state by state surveys confirm that Clinton is comfortably in the lead.
Unfortunately, I think some of the Trump voters are too embarrassed to tell the truth to pollsters. I remember during the primary season it seemed quite often that the Trump vote was significantly higher than predicted.
October 2, 2016 at 7:19 PM #801744AnonymousGuestTrying to minimize one’s taxes is one thing.
Not paying a dime for decades is another.
Even if it was legal, what statement does it make?
One of wealthiest people in America:
– Didn’t pay a dime for the Iraq/Afghanistan wars.
– Didn’t pay a dime for the relief programs after the economic collapse.
– Didn’t pay a dime for the border security that he touts as so essential to our safety.
And he brags about it. And has never hinted that he would change the policies that allowed him to do it.
Who paid for the wars, the bailouts, the highways, and the border patrol….
You paid for it, I paid for it, most working Americans paid something.
But Trump didn’t pay for any of it. Not one dime.
Who does Donald Trump represent?
There are still working-class dumb fucks who believe that he represents them…

You’re not turning into a democrat, flu. If you’re turning into anything, it’s a reasonable person who takes each issue/candidate on its own merits and votes accordingly. But I think that’s already who you were. If you feel it’s less necessary to relate to one party than you did before, I think that’s a good thing.
Too many people cling to their party and everything their party says. That is, by definition, not thinking for yourself. So few people seem to be able to say, for instance, “I’m for spending more to help the mentally ill, but I’m against affirmative action.”
This is a problem we’re having with Trump. Sure, you have the occasional lunatic who comes from a democratic background and wants to vote for Trump. But so many Trump voters are just republicans who have swallowed right-wing bullshit for so many years that they think Hillary is the devil, and all “liberal” ideas are terrible, and Trump would be a good president.
I would suggest that they think for themselves but, like I said, it seems to be a rare person who has that capability.
October 2, 2016 at 8:01 PM #801746CoronitaParticipantThe thing that really disappoints me isn’t the old farts that are voting for Trump. I sort of see that perhaps they way they grew up, and seeing their golden years fade, why they would be all bitter and upset. And to some extent, I do have some sympathy for them, that it’s not easy when the world has changed and moved so fast and left them behind.
What really disappoints me is seeing some of the young Trump supporters exhibit the same hate and frustration against anyone of color. I find that inexcusable. These young ones pissed away their own opportunities, and now it’s somehow someone else’s fault? Really?
October 2, 2016 at 8:29 PM #801747FlyerInHiGuesti think you’ll like this one flu. Trump’s son in law is building a massive Trump branded project in New Jersey using EB-5 money from China.

That number of Trump voters that are embarrassed to tell the truth are dwarfed by unpolled non-Trump voters in almost every single market. Guaranteed.

So you’ve finally embraced affirmative action huh?
absolutely not…. Brian Maienschein was against SCA-5 actually. But, sometimes you got to pick the immediate battles to fight. 🙂
October 3, 2016 at 1:34 AM #801753CoronitaParticipantWell, that didn’t take long….Lol, let the slugfest begin.
Three pages of Trump's tax returns confirm he's a business failure who's gotten rich at your expense. Imagine what he’s hiding in the rest. pic.twitter.com/E3Wt3KRleN
