Rally caused by April Fool’s joke????

So a few non-mainstream sites are reporting that the rally today was triggered by an April fool’s joke gone bad.

What really gets me is that although a number of news organizations, such as WSJ, Bloomberg, Marketwatch, etc all posted that this guy was turning bullish, (not realizing he was joking) they have now deleted any mention of this, and aren’t even reporting who stupid they were. (Guess I shouldn’t be surprised by that though, now should I)

If this is true, I can’t decide which is a bigger joke, the markets, or this guy’s prank. (Of course I guess there’s always the possibility that none of this is true, and saying the rally was sparked by an internet post is the April Fool’s joke.)
