GuestThanks for sharing. I have a whole new perspective on renting after going through this, as I’m sure you do too. I never thought about how to protect myself, I just took it for granted that as long as I was a good tenant, I had nothing to worry about.
We are going through the short-sale process too, the bank has three offers (so I’m told) but hasn’t accepted any of them. It looks like it’s going to foreclose despite the offers, so it’s time to start looking for a new rental π
Agree with you on the purchase decision. It’s more tempting now that things are more affordable, but we’re planning on waiting too.
Are there any other people on this site who have gone through this?
