I agree. This “mansard-style” is gawd-awful. I’ve seen it used in parts of Bay Park and Del Cerro, as well.

yeah, the mansard is ugly. But it looks like the mansard was always there and the addition was just a simple stucco box stuck on top.

It’s not that bad. Some of the Persian Palaces are much worse.
