ParticipantMore fun with short sales in Point Loma. The listing calls out possible structural issues, always a good sign. Still $450k, at a whopping $206 PPSF. Listed at $750k back in August.
And another listing at $440k. Fixer.
A fair amount available in the under $500k range anyway.

ParticipantFor a long while, I have not had the desire to post here, but since this is a popular topic and one I like, I felt the desire to chime in.
Point Loma, Mission Hills, Mt. Helix — most of the houses here have one thing in common: sunset views. The sellers seem willing to discount the prices and move their “alligators” ASAP.
As a soothsayer, I have a sense of knowing why is this the case for some – if not majority of them.
I imagine their tiki torches lighting their backyards while they were enjoying their sunset views. But even the awesome views could not obscure the reality of what they faced. Hence – the huge discounts….Reality bites!

Participantjava – I really like the one on Evergreen. I wonder if and what structural issues it may have, but it is really a beauty. I wonder if it will bid higher. It figures something like this would come up after I close. Are you going to go for it? I’ll be jealous.
Nancy_s soothsayer – you speak in tongue.
