CA Renter…I don’t think that is TG’s message. If the criteria is too orchestrated, too controlled, it is very limiting. The online personals are very intimidating…as TG said, it is not car shopping. Or house buying. Compatibility is key and if you are too rigid then it becomes a fight to the finish line. So, you find the man/woman that has no kids, good job, credit score, and he/she is an arrogant SOB/gold digger that you really don’t like. That is no fun.

While it’s important to clearly outline the **must haves** and **must NOT haves,** at some point, people need to be more flexible and open to different things. It is indeed possible to “checklist” your way right out of the market. π
