1) Boat in, anchor off-shore, swim or paddle to beach, walk up glider port trail (or kayak in from surrounding areas)
2) Donate $1500 to UCSD Chancellor’s Associates, and get a parking pass where you can park anywhere on campus.
3) park at la jolla shores, hike around pier, walk along beach, walk up glider port trailJune 5, 2008 at 2:29 PM #217785poway_sellerParticipant1) Boat in, anchor off-shore, swim or paddle to beach, walk up glider port trail (or kayak in from surrounding areas)

I think the state beach is the best idea. Too, bad the city and US Open did not think ahead, because UCSD is out 2 weeks later.

Basically I have to walk north a little bit on Carmel Valley road and then turn left on North Torrey Pines rd. I think this is a little bit too far for walking ~90 minutes.
There is parking lot R on Del Mar Height Rd but it is only for “Credentials Only”.
Lot M is on Carmel Valley Centre and El Camino Real (0.2 mile from my apartment), and it doesn’t say “Credential Only” like lot R. I wonder if we can park at my apartment and take the shuttle at lot M.
I think I will go there on Friday of next week to ask them about it.
