This one closed today for $925,000. 3/3 2000 sf on a 6100 sf lot.

Ocean view from the living room and front porch. On a super busy street, so way less than ideal, but still well under a million. They originally listed for $1.3M.
.[/quote]No one ever thought that could sell for 1.3 even at the peak. Have you been there? The map pin in your link is inaccurate. It is located on a busy street with 2 other streets, Colima and Forward, street both angled straight into the front of the house. Imagine having your porch at the vertex of an angle made up of streets. Unnerving. Now imagine there are two such angles converging and you can understand the price.
The structure was ok but did not make up for the location. It had one strong selling point, it feeds into Bird Rock Elementary, the top school in San Diego. If you want that school, plus La Jolla schools for middle and high school, that was about the lowest priced possibility.
