ParticipantSpite? Hahaha… I’ll file that under: “Pot Calls Kettle Black.” Go back and re-read your posts, pup. Some of them are among the most spiteful on this board. (Not that I disagree with all of them, of course. Ha!)
Anyhow, regarding possible future altercations with lawyers in dark alleys, I appreciate the heads-up but I think I’ll take my chances. I like my odds.

GuestI know one of the staff that just got laid off yesterday. She worked there over 20 years. And yep, she got the 6 months severance and 6 months medical. Now she gets to collect unemployment too. Fortunately, she rents a modest apartment and doesn’t have many expenses. All in all, she’s pretty happy about the whole thing. I wouldn’t be surprised if she is able to find a good job soon. We’ll see.
There’s plenty of lawyers out there that know how to do more than just “lawyering”. Some, like myself, are on their 2nd career. I’m actually thinking of doing something else – again. Not because of the economy, but because I don’t particularly enjoy what I do. Maybe find a a different way to use a law degree. I could always become a real estate broker. How hard could that be?
