“Obama is a pragmatic centrist”, Not!
gandalf,
Obama brings his socialist past with him wherever he goes. His ideas are not a reaction to the current problems but a lifelong belief that Marxism is best. Marxism is not a centrist position in this country.
His tax plan is at the very least socialist in nature. To tax others so that you can give more to people that don’t even pay taxes is unproductive and wrong.
His website, campaign speeches and popularity may sound centrist but he has plenty of red flags.p.s. I can’t believe that this is the real you that has logged on. You haven’t berated anyone, you haven’t used any foul language, your ego seems to be in check and your political sign-off hasn’t been used. You must have stopped at the “Waters Edge”

Its too late to turn back for probably a generation if we turn the congress and white house over to the Socialists now.
Listen to Party Pup, she is right, our system is much more fragile then we think. The Founding Fathers stressed the word viligent in many writings for a reason.
Thank you for the replies to my posts.

John are you on crack. Quit pre-blaming Obama for the damage already done. The US was just clubbed like a baby seal and before that it was weakened for decades by criminal economic policy. We have built an economy on debt, consumption and bubbles and sent most of our means of production overseas. We have zero engine for job growth and a federal government for all intents and purposes is bankrupt and the whole world is screaming to get rid of the dollar as reserve currency which is the last bubble to pop.
The next president’s job is clean up crew and to keep the peasants from rioting.
