Makes me want to move back to within 75 miles of the stadium. I have finally gotten over the Chargers after 35+ years of aggrevation. Not firing NT & Staff 2 years ago I started to wind it down. Not firing them last year finally did it for me and I can enjoy my Sundays (Mondays & Thursdays) & really could care less about them. Go Redskins & RG3. btw, the Raiders are still worse, maybe the weightlifters on this board have a future with them……

“And now, taking the field, number 87 ‘Scaredy Cat’. Unusual name… Did you hear the story about the dog food? Now look at him… He’s fearsome. I really think that is not an appropriate watch for game day though. Looks like he’s trying to prove something…”
December 12, 2012 at 11:28 PM #756229Allan from FallbrookParticipantKSM: You gave him a wideout number? Dude, why not just come out and call him a pussy? All those squats are gonna give him low pad leverage, so we are either talking nose tackle or full back.
Number 87. Just wrong, dude. Wrong.
December 13, 2012 at 7:30 AM #756231NotCrankyParticipantLet us know what KSMountain means so we can decide if you can play!
Too many hipsters, metrosexuals and Asians on Piggington’s to make a football team. Rednecks can play football, but we have a short supply…and probably no one with any speed. I have always visioned Allan as the lineman type. I am quarterback, but not if there are any real Chargers on our team.
December 13, 2012 at 8:24 AM #756235CoronitaParticipantI vote to put TG on the playing field too…
We should give him the number 69.
December 13, 2012 at 9:18 AM #756243Allan from FallbrookParticipantRuss: Lineman? Them’s fighting words! Middle linebacker, baby! Offensive linemen are amongst the world’s smelliest, nastiest, and most nefarious characters alive.
Middle linebackers (and defensemen in general) on the other hand, are routinely smart, tough, kind to women, children and small animals, as well as handsome.
Death to quarterbacks!
December 14, 2012 at 2:13 PM #756313CardiffBaseballParticipantStrong safety/Free Safety OLB about 100 lbs, ago. Of course I stopped playing after 9th grade like a dumb ass. My parents didn’t explain to me that as a 5’6″ pipsqueak I was going to shoot right on past these manly 9th graders who were the first to 5’9″ and had blazing speed but had peaked. By 12th grade shoulders were broad, I was up to 6’1″ and much stronger, but I was stuck playing hoops trying to get that schollie.
Coulda been a contenda.
My son’s old High school is playing for state title game tonight at 4:00 PST against one of those No-Cal catholic schools. He would have been a big part of the team too, so for one night I am really bummed that we had to move.

I am sorry, Cardiff, I win for most misdirected athlete of all times. Either way, we didn’t amount to much,so get over it or make up for it.
