I use a netbook to carry around the house. iPad is useless to me. Without a keyboard, it’s not that useful for email.
I love my iPhone though… but doing texting on it a pain sometimes because the on-screen keys block the text messages. That’s a pain as you’re typing and the texts come in.
I’m also anti-Apple because they lock their phones. You have to jailbreak and unlock them to get the full capabilities, and to get applications without depending on the AppStore.
Apple is a like a cult of nutcases but they do make great products (beautiful also).
I’ll be getting the Windows Phone when it comes out, simply because I detest the closed loop business model of Apple.
The Google Nexus One is cool but it’s ugly. I’m looking forward to more HTC products on AT&T and T-Mobile (no Verizon for me because I travel and need SIM card).
