I personally don’t give much credence to this study.
Once peeople go online they are kinda desperate already. Online dating services do not reflect people who meet in person.
I would say that NYC and Washington, DC, Miami, Las Vegas, and LA are more promiscuous. In those cities, people have more opportunities to meet in person, face to face and bypass the online services.
In the end, it’s the real encounter that counts. What you say online is meaningless.

Excuse me?? Dallas AND Houston BOTH made the list?? Red-state Texas? Super-Christianite Texas? Pro-marriage Texas? Anti-premarital sex Texas? Mega-family-values-Texas has TWO cities in the top ten?
Hah!! And they can’t even blame it on what they consider their liberal aberration, Austin. Dallas and Houston. That’s rich!
I wonder if Gov. Perry’s going to make some more of his incomparable commercials for Texas tourism that feature this recent achievement.[/quote]
Houston is the topless club capital….well i hear Houston and Toronto both share the privilege of that notoriety. Just because someone is Christian doesn’t mean they don’t sin a lot, in fact I find some ( obviously not all) of the most holier than though types are the ones that sin the most, hence they go to church a lot to repent.

As one of my favorite Jesuit teachers used to say: “Piety without sin is worthless”.
