ParticipantI saw this same thing once when I was out camping in the Sierra’s in 1975. I think they could care less about us. Can you blame them?

I don’t care what anyone says, even the size of the Milky Way is beyond human comprehension, much less the Universe.
Google “Pale Blue Dot” to see a picture of our little planet as the Voyager (as I recall) turns around and takes a picture of us from about 4 billion miles out.
Go out to a Dark Sky site (like Palomar) on a moonless clear night – perhaps with a pair of binoculars. One can soon realize we are on a little rock hurtling through space.
As I take it all in, I find it hard to believe we are alone in the Universe.
