Hooo boy what a day today was in the three ring circus that is the Republican Presidential nomination race!

In Ring 1, we have the Iowa GOP reps who have announced that Romney did not win the caucus as previously reported – no at the present time it looks like Santorum is leading by a few votes. But here 16 days after the caucus we’ll never know who actually got more votes because – and here is where it gets good – the Republicans lost the results from 9 precincts! Oh yeah, these are the guys who are needed to lead our nation.

In Ring 2, we have a former wife of one Newt Gingrich stating that Newt approached her wanting to share her with is third wife in an open marriage arrangement! Now, I don’t have a problem with such a request, but is the rest of America ready for a swingin Prez? That’s not likely to go over well in the bible belt that crucified one Bill Clinton over dress residue and sent the philandering pizzaman Herman Cain packing!

And finally in Ring 3, we have Sarah Palin stating she’d vote for Newt, but only in South Carolina – a bewildering limitation if I ever heard one!

Speaking as an independent, he’s the Republican candidate I could live with the most.

His biggest problem is that he doesn’t excite part of the Republican base that is ultra religious.

Speaking of the bible belt and its citizens who adhere to conservative Christian family values and respect the awesomeness of Western Civilization, did you guys notice the rate of divorce, teenage pregnancy, meth usage, single parenthood, tooth loss, etc…?

I don’t have a lot of respect for Newt or his many wives… I do find it interesting that he wanted to open up the marriage 6 years after he started the affair.

But a candidates sex life is not why I’d vote for them. (Or against them).

If I were in South Carolina I’d be voting for Cain to throw my support to None-of-the-above/Colbert.

You know..The irony to this would be if Romney, Newt, Santorum got into a huge mudslinging contest that dug up all this dirt on each other, that everyone so disgusted by all three candidates drops them and votes for…. Ron Paul….

Well, at least the way I look at it, that’s the only way Ron Paul is ever going to win….
