ParticipantYou should take the course.. end of conversation. It is very useful, and you don’t have to take the test, back at home, they even provide the bikes to ride during class so if you drop it.. no big deal..
Also.. if you ride. Get a a real jacket, one that won’t shred to pieces if you happen to bite it at 30mph. Ride with something other than low top tennis. Change shoes at work. Something to cover your ankles, boots are good, actual riding boots are best.

Participantmotorcycles and scooters are incredibly popular in Europe and developing countries…they are inexpensive to purchase, insure, operate, efficient, easy to park and also fun.
When I was in Rome I rented a scooter and it was so easy to park it right in front of the Colosieum because I could squeeze it in a spot, a car would’ve been impossible, infact this time in Europe I had a car and it was a MAJOR pain to park.
As for danger, the more number of them the less dangerous they will become. The danger is often overplayed, when riding you just have to be very alert and defensive and you will be fine. I’ve been riding all my life and have yet to meet with an accident.
