It was a beautiful day weather-wise, and people were great.
It think that God blessed this rally with beautiful weather. π
I love the East Coast in the spring and in the fall. I’m walking a lot and I’m becoming an East Coast elitist liberal. π
About to go have brunch in the Old City of Philadelphia. Everything here is within 2 miles. It’s great.
Bearishgurl, you’re right, WALKING is the easier way to get around.

October 31, 2010 at 2:59 PM #624804urbanrealtorParticipantSo this is weird.
We were walking out of the East Market (which is an open air farmer’s market type affair) and were walking down the street and I saw I giant inflatable purple spider.Thats not the weird part.
I turned the stroller around so my son could get a better look.
My wife said, “hon, you’re blocking people”.
I turned and stood to get out of the way.
As I apologized, I realized that the folks I was blocking were Anna and Ben Bernanke.Damn if the secret service doesn’t look the same in windbreakers and polo shirts.
While I am sure some ass-bag will now tell me I did a service by blocking him, I really just thought it was funny.
Kind of like the first time I saw Rob Halford at Subway or when I asked Jewel to move so I could make a pool shot at the Casbah.
