I have to agree with you on that, kind of like Nixon and Carter, but this will be economic Obamageddon.

July 4, 2009 at 8:00 PM #425262partypupParticipant
Of all the terrible things George Bush bought our great Country, I believe none so as Obama. Time will tell, but so far I have seen a man deeply in the pockets of “Big Banking” and who despite a lot of talk has done nothing for its citizens at a time of great crisis.
Amen, GH. I curse George Bush every time I see Obama on TV, lecturing us about how Americans must “sacrifice” so that banksters can live and so the Obamas can continue their taxpayer-funded date nights. Only a man who had trashed the U.S. as badly as Bush could make Americans pathetic and desperate enough to elect this clown.
I’ve said it several times, and I’ll say it again. People have NO idea what Obama is capable of or the damage he is going to do to this country. They will see this within 6 months – when state and local governments start to fail and Bambi folds like a lawn chair under the pressure of critical decision-making. Then it will become painfully obvious who this guy is really working for.
The good news is I’m not worried about a second term for Obama. The bad news is that there won’t be much of a country left by the time he is through.

July 5, 2009 at 11:48 AM #425266ZeitgeistParticipantI hope you are wrong about the long term damage to the country via the economic tinkering. I hope Congress can be changed substantially and the crazy spending will be curtailed. Yes, Obambi will fold under pressure, like the empty suit he is.
