mmm BBQ !!!
Rush is a sharp guy. Do you really think he will involved in the day to day operations? Doubt it. It’s for bragging rights and investment only. And I’m sure a little slap to ESPN.
Plus, he will bring a lot of new fans to his team and all the publicity ( look what is happening now! ) will swell viewers thus creating a large advertising base.
Smart like a fox.
Rushis an idiot. That he’s been allowed to climb into the power positions
of the GOP says what poor strategists they areLook, if he wants a team, I am all in favor. See if he can make St Louis
a national brand like Dallas or SF or Chicago.Frankly I think he’d demoralize the team.

Brian: I would be interested in your take on the NFL being a plantation style organization.
Interesting. I’ve have to think about this a little. But he’s what comes immediately to mind.
The players make quite a bit of money. But they can be “parts” as you say.
I guess, it’s much better to be a well-paid slave than a slave that’s not paid at all.
Those who save their money and manage it well can buy freedom for the whole village — something like the sacrifice of one for the benefit of all.
Ball players can easily get the hot blonde (real or fake) models that even the regular white boys can’t touch. Guess who’s coming to dinner?
Sports and entertainment celebrities are the new cream of the crop. I can picture a Black person like Arnold Schwarzenegger marrying into an elite American family.
I think that sports is good. It brings people together. The more the better.
The military is also good. When people work together they build trust and respect and become friends. I see so many interracial couples these days, of which one is in the military.
I’ve noticed that at Walmart (yes I shop there but don’t tell anyone) and Frys, Best Buy and the major shopping centers.
Working class Blacks and Whites have a lot in common. Too bad race divides them.

October 15, 2009 at 5:51 PM #469635CardiffBaseballParticipantHix lists all his NFL clients on his site.
Here is a sample:
http://www.playfast.net/pfa_clients/nfl_combine.phpI imagine most of these guys you can’t go wrong.
Yes my 9th grade son is 5’11” 170, and I remember freshman football being 5’7″ 130. Also my shoe size was maybe 9 (now 12) and he is already 12. I grew to be 6’0″ in HS, and about 6’1″ now, so I hope he is on the same program. Chicks dig the longball. One guy said a rule of thumb is a boy is 6-8 inches taller than mom, I hope it holds out since the wife is 5’10”. Heck 4-5 more inches would be good and that’s what I grew after 9th grade.
Amazing the quality of athlete around here on the youth level.
