Allan,
So who is it? While we are on the subject, why the slow count when it comes to announcing the VP? Is each side waiting to see who the other side has? I feel like with McCain’s age, the selection of VP is very important. Likewise, Obama’s choice sends a clear message on what kind of administration it will be or could be.August 2, 2008 at 11:03 PM #251177AecetiaParticipantAllan,

Gandalf you keep getting mad instead of stating facts. I don’t have to prove that he is inexperienced. You have to make the case that he has experience. You keep bringing up the word facts but you don’t use any. He is light on substance because he has not talked about anything other than hope, change and Bush. Can he spend one minute talking about his foreign policy experience for example?
I typed that BHO won a walkthrough Senate election against a last minute carpetbagger and you call me a “Racist”.
Let us know when your shift is over at Obama’s campaign so that I can call the kids in. You are a real freak. [/quote]Well said! Here! Here!

Man, I hope things work out alright. Some scary problems in the world right now. I never used to care but I do now. I got two kids and leaving the place better than when I found it — that’s just understood. I can’t do the opposite. We’ve got to get real about the issues we’re facing.
Susan Eisenhower’s OpEd in the WaPo was the difference for me, in terms of backing BO. We’ve got big issues, and it’s time to turn the page, new generation of leaders. I always liked Eisenhower a lot. So I guess I trust Ike’s grandkid. Sounds stupid, I know. I do alot of things on instinct though. And I’m seldom wrong, although it has been known to happen. My wife is keeping count, I think.
Sleep calls.
