We bought a dishwasher, stainless steel Bosch
regular price at Sears was $1,350 (tag in back still on it). The cheapest I saw it on line was AJ Madison for about $1,200. We bought it for $877. It was in perfect brand-new condition. They had some kind of $20 off coupon also. I think it may qualify for the Energy Star $30 rebate, too. Still way more than I wanted to spend, but I think it’s one of the best.
Good for you, jp! That sounds like a great deal. Can’t wait to hear how it works.
Your thread is very insightful for those of us who still have this appliance-hunting ahead of us. Thank you for the questions and input.
Enjoy your appliances! π

If you get an undermount make sure that they install it in such a way that you can remove it and install a new one if you have any problems down the road. Many installers will just sandwich the sink between the plywood and your counter tops. If you ever have a sink problem and want to replace you are SOL unless you want to replace all your counter tops as well.
