Aecetia: I think the next four years are going to take a tremendous toll on Obama. I admired his speech today for the simple reason that he didn’t sugarcoat things, or take the easy way out. I believe that turning this country around, if he manages to do so, will exact a terrible price on him.
It reminds of those pictures of Abraham Lincoln shortly before his death. You can see what guiding this country through the darkest years of the Civil War did to him. Or LBJ at the end of his Presidency following the years prosecuting the Vietnam War.
Obama has his work cut out for him. Dubya will probably look better four years from now. I hear the weather in Argentina has restorative properties.

I agree. He could have not picked a much worse time to be the President and it ages all of them, some of them do not make it through the ordeal, look at Wilson and FDR. I would not recommend the job. I think W will do fine. I think he did a much smoother transition than the Clintons and it looks like the Obama’s appreciated the hospitality. It will be an interesting four years. As for the age enhanced, I do not think McCain would have been able to handle the stress even though he handled torture. He never got it when the press turned on him. What’s up with Hillary’s job. Is there something the taxpayers need to know?

I think Hillary is going to be a force to be reckoned with, especially on the world stage. Here you have someone with, IMHO, the best grasp and understanding of power since the Borgias.
Yep, it’s going to be an interesting four years. I didn’t vote for Obama, but I do hope he turns out to be as promised. As opposed to turning out like Jimmy Carter.
