To all those who wonder how rents will decrease….this is one of the first steps. Substitution and consolidation leading to greater density within a given unit.

January 31, 2009 at 7:41 PM #339482RicechexParticipantCbad, I think it is excellent parenting NOT to leave your girls alone with this man.
However, another side note on sex offenders:
Generally, the profile of these guys are that the families think they are FABULOUS! Salt of the earth. Role models of society (ie: priests) also fit this bill. This is why everyone is always so surprised when they find out that one of these guys is a sex offender. Sex offenders have to be especially “great guys” because it takes work to gain the trust of the child and parents, so they can commit their crimes. (Did ya hear about that retired Rear Admiral that was discovered with child porn?)
Also, sex offenders generally prey on children who may be lonely, parents working all the time, the outcasts of the group, etc. That certainly does not apply to you!
The guy you are going to have there, doesn’t really fit this profile. Not to say that it couldn’t happen, because a profile is only a profile.
Also, I do not prefer to use the term “molest” as its definition is harassment, annoying, bothering, etc. You see the same signs at the zoo. I call it rape or sex offense. It is a crime and it goes beyond harassing or annoying.

[/quote]No, I hadn’t heard about that. But man, that’s like the opening of a joke right there…
I’ve also never liked the term “molests” either. It mitigates it.
