i personally experience high levels of schadenfreude. damn. in fact, I’m experiencing pleasure at thinking of palin being somewhat humilitaed. unfortunately, it’s countered by rage at the thought of all thos millions (6 figures a night?) she’s going to make with her hypocritical speeches to an oddly adoring public. so, really, i’m hoping for much greate rlevels of humiliation and misery to compensate for her extreme upcoming wealth. it’s only fair
That was a good one, haha…
But I don’t feel schadenfreude or envy in Palin’s case.
I think that it’s just funny that Palin, who is supposed to represent family values, intelligence and the “true” America, has such a trailer-trash family life.
Guess who her adoring public is? She’s so lucky to have her fans treat her so well despite their own misfortune. All the power to Palin if they make her rich.
I “love” Palin; and I’m glad that she’s around to provide us entertainment. I actually hope that she gets her own TV show and becomes even wealthier.
Considering what others have posted about Obama and Kennedy, my statements about Palin are pretty fair and balanced. I didn’t need to make up anything. Palin’s family provided all the material. I just call a spade a spade.
BTW, I’m a progressive elitist and I don’t have any soft spot for idiots (so I’m certainly no bleeding-heart liberal). If the low-class masses of the Red States choose to support Palin, then… let them eat cake.

September 3, 2009 at 10:35 AM #452452scaredyclassicParticipantok, I was overstating my feelings. i actually am not getting a good dose of schadenfreude; that’s limited to people closer to me who I truly envy. you’re right. she’s just funny. and it’s all totally beleivable, too. you just know the levi kid is telling the truth. it’s too goofy and low-brow to make up. let the record be clear though. i still think palin is cute.

September 3, 2009 at 10:59 AM #452472Allan from FallbrookParticipantScaredy: You think Palin is cute? Boy, talk about being damned with faint praise. Palin ain’t cute; Palin is hot!
You’re telling me you wouldn’t want to take her to headboard heaven whilst “drilling” her on grammar and geography (“I look out my window and see Russia…”).
C’mon, dude, be honest.
