Typically they have very little to choose from (low inventory) and I think they figure they have a captured market since they are the only game in town.
Just overall difficult to deal with IMO.
Also, they put a new transmission in my Expy ($3000+) when the only problem was a faulty COP (coil over plug).

The two problem may not but related but purely coincidental.
