Your whole series of posts to me on this and the “list” thread smack of someone with an air of superiority. So superior that they cannot acknowledge that they called someone out as a liar and a racist by mistake. And I’m not talking about myself, here, although in the past, you have (both overtly and covertly) implied that I, too, am a “racist.”[/quote]I never said anywhere that “I feel” or “I felt” anything. McConnell is a liar. McConnell is a racist. He just admitted in the last 48 hours that Trump is a racist. And he’s still supporting him anyway. And I think you’re a racist too. I don’t need to apologize for that. You do.

You have essentially called me a racist for bringing up here the massive costs that CA has incurred for services for (as well as criminal justice system costs for) illegal immigrants. I’ve seen it first-hand for the past ~40 years and CA’s “unfunded mandates” over that time frame are likely in the $1T+ category by now. There are dozens of websites (some govm’t websites) detailing in lengthy reports this massive outlay of cash by CA taxpayers over many years due to being unreimbursed by the Federal Govm’t for these services. Everyone in government in CA who has any power at all is acutely aware of the adverse affect illegal immigration has had on this state and has had their own dept’s budget suffer because of it. All the while many of CA’s highways have been crumbling for years.
You’ve chosen to “shoot the messenger” who dares to discuss CA’s most prominent, seemingly intractable, elephant in the room, here. It doesn’t make you “look good” by doing so.
If Trump believes he can have a wall built along our ~1000 mile southern land border to protect this country’s interests and stop the sieve of northbound people (nearly all “indigent”) who are an endless money drain for local, state and Federal government coffers, then I say let him try. He can start right here in San Ysidro, since it is the largest border crossing of all of them.
This opinion doesn’t make me or anyone else that is in favor of seeing this wall built a “racist.” You might be “shocked” as to how many thousands of native-born or legal-resident persons of “Hispanic origin” from all across the country (incl “border dwellers”) agree with me!

The wall doesn’t make Trump a racist. (That wall, btw, will never be built. If it was built, it would never work.) Your pointing out facts don’t make you a racist. That doesn’t change the fact that Trump is a racist. You’re supporting a racist. You know all the facts that make him a racist. That, and a dozen or more of your posts here make it clear you’re a racist. Again, I don’t need to apologize for that. You should. Or own up to it. You’re supporting a flat out racist. You’re a flat out racist.
And yes, thousands of Hispanics will vote for Trump. Good luck with that. There’s 55 million Hispanics in the country. It’s estimated that 10 million will vote. Again, thousands will vote for Trump. That should win him…….nothing.

They’re all “racists” but you’re not. I can see why more than a few Piggs will support Trump and vote for Trump and not post about it here with the likes of you on this board.
No one has asked you for an apology here. I honestly don’t care if you think I’m a “racist” because you know nothing about me. It has become apparent to all reading this thread and watching the CNN video I provided that your claim here that McConnell lied on CNN and is a “racist” is all in your head. But you’ll never own up to it, even when the proof is staring you in the face.
So much for your credibility ….

Me? I’m pretty sure I’m not the guy that said I can’t get a fair trial from an American judge because he’s Mexican. You know I’m not the first person to call Trump racist, right? You know the speaker of the house said it, right? And you know the speaker of the house is the highest ranking republican in government right now, right? You know that Lindsey Graham called him racist, right? (you know who he is, right?) Mitch McConnell had multiple opportunities to say that what Trump said earlier this week was flat out racist. He’s a liar, and now a chicken shit. So he didn’t say it. But when some of the most powerful elected officials in his own party call him a racist, he’s pretty much a racist.
And you? You know he’s a racist, and you’re still voting for him. It’s possible that some people who like him don’t know he’s a racist. They could just be morons. But everyone who knows he’s a racist, and is still voting for him….they support racism…so they’re pretty much racists. If you see a gap in my logic here, please share. If there’s a good reason that you’re not a racist, even though you’re supporting a racist, (and a man who has promised to nominate judges who will (not might, will) overturn Roe v. Wade if given the opportunity) please share it. Otherwise, you owe a lot of people an apology for being a racist.
June 10, 2016 at 5:54 PM #798603joecParticipantI admit I am probably a racist, but I think a lot of people are racist, but just too polite to claim they aren’t or never make so and so comments, etc…
I think Trump is an idiot and also a racists and just looking to enrich himself and say he “was” POTUS while he can.
There are probably different degrees of racism, but from knowing a few Qualcomm workers too, it sounds like that whole company has tons of racists too.
It sounds like certain races of people mostly hang and support people of their race, ever go to an Indian kid birthday party? Only see Indians. Does that make them racists?
All studies have stated that people are less trusting now than years past. This may have to do with people who aren’t the same as us moreso in the US now than in the 60s. This is probably why Japan refuses to open up immigration since it solves the lack of children/workers issues, but opens up other social problems to deal with (less caring/support for people of a diff race).

No, it doesn’t. It’s not just Indians. Immigrants from most every country that I can think of are pretty much the same. There’s a woman I went to school with, and I reconnected with her on FB a few years ago. She’s 3rd generation American born of Greek descent. Her great-grandparents immigrated 150 years ago. Two-thirds of her facebook friends are Greek, including, I think, every Greek person I ever knew in the 55 years I lived in SD.
That doesn’t make her, or other Greeks racist. Doesn’t mean they’re not either. All of us seek others with similar interests and backgrounds.
Racism is the belief that one race is superior or inferior to another. That’s not the same as saying you like hanging with people like you. That’s a societal remnant of a very particular stage of childhood development. Some of us outgrow it. Some never do. Trump hasn’t. Many of his supporters haven’t.
June 22, 2016 at 3:01 PM #798974FlyerInHiGuestRepublicans have accused Hillary of running for Obama’s third term.
Interestingly, that has worked out pretty well for Hillary in winning the primary because Obama is more popular than Hillary with young people and would be Sanders supporters.
Obama’s popularity has been going up in the general electorate. So while a third Obama term might cause some seething among republicans, it’s a prospect that is generally quite popular.
June 23, 2016 at 7:45 AM #798975moneymakerParticipantAm I the only one that thought after reading this thread that POTUS (President of the United States) stood for “piece of totally useless shit”? Whether Trump is a racist or not I don’t know, but the comparison between his speeches and those of Hitler are scary.

You can relax, now.

Many incumbent presidents tend to be pretty popular. Bill Clinton might still be president if we didn’t have term limits.

No, I can’t. You think women haters and forced-birthers are going to relax? They will challenge and damage women’s health the moment they get the chance. And the only way to prevent that chance is to protect the court from ideologues like Thomas, Alito and Scalia.
