Well, my Canon SD950IS arrived today. All I can say is wow. Image Stabilization is awesome. The sad part is that I think my pictures taken with this camera are coming out better than the ones I shoot with my digital SLR, which was considerably more expensive (tells you what my skills are like).
Anyway, thanks all for the recommendation. I haven’t bought a electronic toy that wasn’t work related in over 2.5 years. So I’m a little giddy right now. (Ah yes, it’s the little things in life that make things interesting).

Where’d you buy it and how much was it? Also, what type of memory cards did you get? We’re deciding between the 870IS and the 950IS. We like the larger preview screen of the 870IS because we’ll be shooting underwater, but it’d sure be nice to have the 12 MP.
