I was personally very impressed with the stated “sacrifice” that Barry’s wife stated they were making in going over and pitching Chicago. She is such an elitist snob if makes me root against him more than I otherwise would.
They spanked him intentionally on that making it clear Chicago was last. Talk about an international F.. You!

I don’t know that taking Mayor Daley along was such a good idea, either.
When you throw in Blago, the corruption, the cronyism, the gangsterism, the jailed former politicians, including a recent governor, and juxtapose that with Brazil’s stellar presentation, well, it isn’t hard to see why the IOC went the way they did.
However, the rabid morons on the left conveniently ignore those facts, along with some fairly unseemly boosterism by the Prez and claim that conservatives (all of them!) hate America as a result of Chicago’s failed bid. Yeah, that must be it.

October 4, 2009 at 10:40 AM #463531blahblahblahParticipantThis is about BO making the green for his pimps back in his hood. You don’t see him pushing for Kansas City.
Perhaps that is because Kansas City did not submit a bid to host the Olympics. Only seven cities submitted applications to host the 2016 games: Chicago, Madrid, Rio, Tokyo, Baku, Doha, and Prague.
