Al Sharpton
Jesse Jackson
BILL CLINTON
These guys don’t have a daily show with million of listeners.
Let’s go to what you ORIGINALLY said:
ucodegen, I don’t see an equivalent to Rush on the left — someone who despite his own personal failings still commands a huge fanatical audience.
Jesse Jackson has a radio show. Check.
Al Sharpton has a radio show. Check.
Jesse Jackson has a huge fanatical audience. Check.
Al Sharpton has a huge fanatical audience. Check.
Bill Clinton does not have a radio show but he does command a huge fanatical audience. Check.
Sorry, I’m just holding you to what you said before. Changing the goalposts is a familiar tactic of yours, but it does not help when you talk inaccurately.

October 6, 2009 at 4:28 PM #464860surveyorParticipantpolicies that lead to failure
As an accused conservative, I wasn’t cheering for Chicago’s loss in the Olympics bid. There may have been a lot of so-called conservatives who have cheered for that, but most of the ones I read were simply more happy about being right about Obama’s influence (or lack thereof) than actually cheering that ooh the U.S. lost the Olympics.
Like I said, I wasn’t cheering for either scenario, but I did know that it would lead to failure. I am not hoping Obama loses or that Obama will fail, but I do know that he is following policies that will lead to failure. Whether I hope for him to succeed or not, this fact remains. He is leading the U.S. to failure. I have discussed this at length with many here and it is now beginning to show that he has a questionable grasp of history. And it is history that has shown that his policies will fail.
So whether or not you like Obama, whether or not you are conservative or liberal, whether or not you are black or white or asian or whatever, these policies are going to fail.
That to me saddens me more than anything, but if we need to learn this lesson, then we will learn this lesson. That is the one thing that I will be glad to happen.

October 6, 2009 at 4:51 PM #464870ArrayaParticipantObama failed as soon as he got into office by continuing the Bush bailouts and wars. Failure was baked in the cake. The country is bankrupt and the choice is to either start another war or start bankruptcy proceedings.
We failed years ago, this is just the four decade in the making failure coming to fruiting. Obama is Gorbachev residing over the collapse of an empire.
The trajectory can not be stopped by anybody, regardless of policies.
All he can do is pick up the pieces when done. We have a year or two for that.
