OT: Business Use of home

It’s probably best to run this by a CPA and/or tax attorney. They would probably be able to give you the best advice as to your options, how to structure it, and how it ties in with your other (realized and potential) household income.

The safest bet would be to create two entities, one for the tech biz and one for the baseball biz. If you wanna go cheapo make them propreitorships or if you wanna go more expensive then make them s-corps. Not really any need for corps here unless you feel liability protection is needed. A few really cold days but for an rust-belt Midwesterner no biggie. I actually drive home each day through UCF, and right on past the football stadium. Kind a cool commute.
