ParticipantI just picked up a Sugar Plant (Stevia) from Whole Foods in Hillcrest. Great way to natually sweeten teas. I recommend it. It’s a perfect herbal plant to add to a gardener’s collection.

It’s banned as a food ingredient by FDA. But the plant is not.
Do you believe the FDA?

The other way around.
Some refined stevia products can be used as sweeteners, but whole-leaf products and crude extracts can’t, because they’ve been shown to have adverse effects on fertility and renal system.
