I haven’t had a drink for around 6 days. That’s the longest I can remember. Interesting.
Nice job, scaredy. How do you feel? Did you get your liver tested, yet?

March 30, 2011 at 7:05 AM #681679scaredyclassicParticipantNo test. Just going to stop a while to prove to wife I can.
Actually it’s mildly difficult.
You can lose weight without alcohol. I need some alcohol to eat a lot. Plus it slows me down afterwards. I’d say no booze will save 700 calories a day in booze, extra food and not moving as much. Jeez that’s a pound a week.
I’m gonna stop drinking till all of ny pants are loose.
Good test of will-power.
As I said before, my dad used to smoke opium when he was in Laos in his youth. He quit just fine and never looked back.
What about coffee addiction?
I find that those who can’t do without coffee are addicted to the stimulant.
In my opinion, any kind of addiction is bad. As a test of will-power, I’ve told some friends to do without coffee… but they can’t even do that.
It seems like human/animal nature is very prone to addiction.
