Martin’s post brings up the obvious. If the bad guys want to get something on your plane they will just get hired by the TSA or the ground crew, or they’ll bribe someone in those positions. This whole thing is NOT about making flying safer.
The TSA has a few purposes as far as I can tell:
1) Make-work jobs to try to keep unemployment looking not so bad since so much work has been sent overseas.
2) A captive market for graft; insiders can sell them a bunch of junk “security” equipment.
3) Slave training. Getting the slaves used to being groped and prodded. Notice that the goons wear rubber gloves but they don’t change them between patdowns, so it’s not about cleanliness or safety. It is about conditioning you that government agents in rubber gloves can touch you and your family.
4) Goon squads. The government now has a big squad of goons that will do pretty much anything they’re told. Any agents that do not quit in protest over the new gropedowns and x-ray machines are of questionable moral and intellectual fiber. Think of the possibilities — a giant army of weak-minded goons that will do anything for a paycheck.
As far as I can tell, they’re basically getting everyone ready for the work/death camps. Also possibly forced vaccinations. The rubber gloves are just really creepy.

November 18, 2010 at 10:51 PM #632060kcal09ParticipantNo matter what TSA does, it’s not right… If a plane goes down they get the blame for not being effective enough. If they pat down passengers they are being accused of harassment. I prefer to being patted or X-rayed over going down in a plane…
