I agree. Even my wife, who will vote for Obama, thought he sounded weak and tired. He did lots of stumbling and stuttering. He did not defend criticism from Mitch’s minutes with anything positive before moving on to the next question. Mitch did a good job with that.
Mitch won this debate by a long shot. The whine was gone. He sounded energetic but smooth and quite capable on the topics they discussed. Of course, it was all bullshit, but other than that, he won.

Why not a Saints (Aint’s) uniform? They’re 0 – 4, at least the Raiders won one game!
I agree, however, Obama looked like he wanted to be anywhere but up on that dais last night and Romney looked like he was channeling his inner Reagan.
I think the Biden – Ryan debate will also be interesting. Given how gaffe-prone Uncle Joe is, it might get pretty ugly.

The Saints have been in every game this year, based on Obama’s performance last night I was looking for a team that has emabarrassed themselves like the Raiders have 3 out of 4 times this year. Sorry..October 4, 2012 at 10:42 PM #752218Allan from FallbrookParticipant[quote=desmond]Allan,

Just you wait.

If the Oaksterdam Raiders beat the mighty Falcons, I’m going as Jamarcus Russell for Halloween.

Gandalf: I think your traditional Cinderella Halloween costume is safe this year. There ain’t a hope in hell that Oakland beats Atlanta. Falcons opened a can on the Chargers and, let’s face it, the Chargers are a waaaay better team than the Raiders.
My comment was made solely to make myself feel better (and, yes, it is all about me) because I realize that we’re completely hosed this year.
SF Giants going to the NLCS, though. Sweet.

I’d recommend hiring Wade Philips back as your D Coordinator, but Rogers and the Pack flamed his ass on Sunday.
October 16, 2012 at 10:33 AM #752657SD RealtorParticipantIt was stupendous yet not unexpected. Consider the following breaks the Chargers got in the first half. A muffed bunt where the broncos blocker pushes the charger cover guy into the punt returner who had called a fair catch. Then a bizarre bounce on a kickoff, followed by the mother of all of them, a bronco receiver streaking to a touch down who then tripped over the 40 yard line.
My prediction for the loss came on the following play, in the 3rd quarter after the ponies scored, Rivers has a wide open Dante Rosario 40 yards downfield and throws completely to the wrong side of him.
This one was pretty predictable. It is pretty easy to see Rivers throws off his back foot most of the time. Cornerbacks with trailing techniques are picking him off easily for the past 2 seasons. Most of his deep balls are well underthrown, and alot of the Chargers offense actually relies on back shoulder plays to the sidelines.
As for the defense it was not a surprise. At least Pagano tries to throw a 5th or 6th man on the blitz fairly often. When you don’t have a great pash rush and don’t have corners who can play man to man then you are pretty screwed and are resigned to have to take alot more chances. If you look at a few of the ints that phil threw last night that were more downfield, each time he had a short pass open but passed on it.
The only good thing about last night was I put money on the ponies…
